What Is A Loan Modification?

A loan modification is a change to the original terms of your mortgage loan.

Unlike a refinance, a loan modification doesn’t pay off your current mortgage and replace it with a new one. Instead, it directly changes the conditions of your loan.

It’s also important to know that modification programs may negatively impact your credit score. If you're current on your mortgage, it would be better to review your options and see if you can apply to refinance. Some of the changes through a loan modification can include lowering interest rate, capitalization deferment of missed payments, term re-amortization, and principal reduction.

Loan Term Changes:

Extend your term of the loan to lower payments. This will give you more time to repay your loan and will reduce the amount you must pay every month.

Interest Rate Reduction:

Lower interest rate which reduces your payment amount. Work with us to submit the proper information and get a lower rate which lowers monthly payments.

  • Last 2 pay stubs and or financial benefit letters (includes social security, child support, pension, etc)
